Plantain Chutney Powder by Gowri Chebbi

Ingredients:
- 1 plantain
- 2 tbsp Bengal gram dhal
- 2 tbsp black gram dhal
- 2 tbsp toor dhal
- 4 to 5 red chilies
- Salt, to taste
Method:
1. Start by cutting the plantain into 3 or 4 segments. Boil these segments until tender. Once boiled, peel off the skin and set the plantain aside.
2. In a pan with a touch of oil, fry the dhals and red chilies until they are well-toasted and aromatic.
3. Move the fried dhals and chilies to a grinder. Add salt and grind them into a coarse powder.
4. Introduce the boiled plantain to the mix and grind gently until everything is combined into a coarse texture.
5. Transfer the chutney powder to an airtight container. It can be stored for a long time, making it a convenient and flavorful addition to various meals. Enjoy!
